Green Haze at The Brunswick

The Brunswick in Gloucester played host to Green Day tribute band 'Green Haze' who played a well over 2 hours of material that stretched from Dookie to Tre!.
The band played with great enthusiasm all night, replicating stunts found in actual Green Day shows, with the use of a bull horn & a toilet paper gun to entertain the energetic crowd, of which members were brought on stage to sing their hearts out to Longview & Jesus of Suburbia.

Even the All Golds got involved, with James Tutuila taking on the Pongbot, but only scoring 4!
With exclusive deals offered at the busy bar, students can enjoy the tournament and a drink with their friends!
An upbeat atmosphere was creating through good music that provide a 'beat to pong too!'
A good turnout of over 100 students ensured competition & energetic support within the singles & doubles tournaments, showing and engaging bar culture within this sport.
Come and share some laughs next week during the doubles tournament.
Cyril shows some relief after progressing in the singles tournament.

Rochdale v All Golds

The 3rd round of the Challenge Cup drew a trip to Spotland Stadium in Rochdale for The All Golds, whose president Lionel Hurst is seen preparing the changing room.
The stadium is shared with Rochdale AFC, whose sign-age is placed above the tunnel, as a ball boy runs towards the pitch.
This ticket was sat on top of the covers at the end of the pitch, Rochdale only beat Leeds to earn that FA cup tie with Wednesday!
An external feature I like about smaller grounds, local residents can view games from their homes. I guess no one was interested in this fixture however an attendance of 307 was recorded.
A general view of the stadium, taken from the Sandy Lane End.
The Sandy Lane end is a standing terrace, and also used for storing of the goalposts when their not in use!
One of the rare exciting moments from the All Golds, Marcus Elliot touching down in corner to score their only points of the game, ending 76-4 to Rochdale Hornets.

All Golds v Scorpions

Head Coach Brad Hepi oversees the All Golds as they warm up for their first home match of the season against the South Wales Scorpions.
Temperatures hit 17 degrees in Cheltenham, perfect for an afternoon out watching the rugby.
Club captain Mike Stewart is still out with an injury, and is seen advising James Tutuila, who endured a rough game, playing against his former team for the first time since his move to the All Golds in November.
Lionel Hurst, you won't find a better dressed ball boy anywhere else!
The Scorpions attempted a late surge to catch the All Golds, but are stopped on the try line, loosing the match 29-17.
After contributing two tries in the second half to secure the victory, Danny Thomas is interviewed by Danielle Meredith.

Futsal Festival

Kicking a ball about is hard work sometimes.
Less said about the Wales game later on in the day, the better!
Gary on his phone again.
Premier League experience was brought in, playing alongside teams such as Prestige Worldwide & Richmond Oilers.
Who turns down free Mars bars!?
I'd never seen a music less cheer-leading display, until today.
